Viral B. Shah is the Co-Founder and CEO at Julia Computing, Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. Shah’s experience includes Co-Creator, The Julia Language, Rebooting India, Co-Author, Manager (Financial Inclusion), Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Bengaluru, Senior Scientist, Interactive Supercomputing. Waltham, MA. Shah was awarded with Doctor of Philosophy – Ph.D Computer Science,UC Santa Barbara and B. Engg.Computer Engineering, PVPPCOE | Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil College of Engineering. He has received patent for his work on “Methods and apparatus for parallel execution of a process”. He is awarded with James H. Wilkinson Prize for Numerical Software from SIAM and In Recognition of the contribution to support the Wildlife Profession through the Circuitscape software fromSpatial Ecology and Telemetry Working Group of The Wildlife Society.

Shailesh Sakri

Shailesh Sakri is presently working as Sr.Manager, DSP Engineering at HARMAN International, Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India. Shailesh is a results-oriented visionary with a background of working in Consumer Electronics, IoT, and Automotive Embedded system software with 20 years of Industrial experience, ex-Amazon employee and IEEE Senior member. Some of his key achievements include adopting the Audience’s ear Smart chips in Apple, Samsung, LG, Xiomi, OnePlus, etc phones that had the Noise suppression, Acoustic Echo Canceller and Audio Processing features on the chip. During his tenure at Amazon, he lead the audio team in delivering Echo Spot, Echo Show, Echo Show 5, Echo Dot V3 and Echo Dot V4. Echo Dot V3 and V4 are one of the largest sold echo products from Amazon and widely sold multimodal echo device Echo Show devices.
Sakri is experienced Audio Specialist working in the consumer electronics industry. Strong arts and design professional skilled in Linux, Speech and Audio processing Algorithms, Firmware, Device Drivers, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). He has strong strategic and long-range planning abilities; skilled in setting product and technology strategies in B2C and B2B environments with a unique skillset of technology orientation in enabling business to the company and building a strong team across geographical location. His diverse background covers designing Audio systems, Keyword spotter, Speaker recognition using Machine Learning techniques, quality assurance, customer support, and marketing functions.

Dr Jagadeesha R Bhat

Jagadeesha R Bhat received Ph. D in Computer Science in the area of “Algorithms for Device to Device communication” from National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering-Digital Electronics & Communication and B. E in Electronics and Communication. Currently, he is Asst. Prof at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Dharwad. His area of research includes D2D Communication, Edge computing and Next Generation Networks.
He is a recipient of International graduate scholarship, Taiwan and was nominated for prestigious Commonwealth scholarship (UK) by MHRD, India in 2012. He was an external researcher at Zayed University, United Arab Emirates. In the past, he was conferred with the best paper award at the international conferences VSPICE-2019 (India) and WASN-2018 (Taiwan).
He is also involved with IEEE and ACM. Earlier he was the MDC of IEEE Mangalore subsection and now branch councillor of IIIT Dharwad Student Branch, Execom member of YP Bangalore section. In addition, currently, he is the treasurer of ACM SigMobile (I-Mobile), India.
